The Calaveras Mentoring Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, Tax ID #80-0512251, and all donations are fully tax deductible.

Where does my donation go? All contributions directly support the safety and success of our program participants and friendships. Your donation goes toward recruiting and screening volunteer mentors and matching, monitoring and supporting mentors and mentees with training, field trips and mentor counsel.

Become a Friend Forever

An important step in securing the future of our Mentoring Programs is our pledge program for sustained giving. We have named our program "Friends Forever" because that is what both the Mentoring Programs and the Mentoring Foundation are working to create. In this program you may set up a monthly recurring donation. This is an easy way for you to split up your yearly donation while giving steady support to our Mentoring Programs as a FRIEND FOREVER.

Thanks to all our sponsors, supporters and everyone who came out with their Boots and Bling for our annual party.

It was a great time and a huge success!

Leave a legacy

Your legacy can make a difference, too. A planned gift to the Calaveras Mentoring Foundation ensures a future for our Mentoring Programs and creates your own legacy of support. Planned giving also offers significant advantages, including tax breaks and a potential income increase.

If you’re considering making the Calaveras Mentoring Foundation part of your trust, bequest, or endowment, please contact us at or 209-736-7706.

Be a Mentor

Do you have 2 hours a week to spend on fun activities with a young person? The Calaveras Youth Mentoring Program is our program for kids in 1st through 12th grades, and the YAM and ILP Programs (formerly known as SWAG) are for young adults ages 16-21. The first step to apply or learn more about either program is to attend a one-hour Info Session.

Not ready to mentor yet? It takes more than mentors for matches to happen! Check out the Calaveras Youth Mentoring Program page for a list of other ways to get involved.
